This scepticism applies to both world trade and our international institutions, and it occurs in the context of states exhibiting a "growing occupation ofredressing perceived injustices in global relations." Emerging economies demand the global influence they think they deserve. The USA is also among those thatfeel cheated, withdrawing from international agreements. One example is the withdrawal from the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
